Manage physical campus locations, gates, lecture halls, and scanning zones.

Overview & Description​
Areas define the physical locations across your campus where attendance is tracked (e.g., Main Entrance Gate, Gymnasium, University Library, Science Lab 201). When creating classes, events, or registering hardware devices, they are linked to an Area to track where check-ins occur.
Navigation Steps​
Navigate to Admin Sidebar > Devices > Areas.
Fields & Area Information​

Operations​
How to Add an Area​
- Click the
+button on the Areas page. - Enter the Area Name and optional notes.
- Click Save.
How to Update an Area​
- Click the area name in the first column of the table.
- Edit details and click Save.
How to Delete an Area​
- Open the area record.
- Click Delete in the top action bar and confirm.
Operations such as viewing, adding, updating, and deleting physical campus areas may be subject to user or group permission restrictions. Access to permissions can be coordinated with your administrators if needed.
