Overview & Description​

Device Logs record technical telemetry emitted by hardware scanner kiosks and mobile nodes. This includes network IP addresses, firmware script versions, heartbeat check-ins, and raw scan transmissions.


Navigate to Admin Sidebar > Devices > Device Logs.


Fields & Telemetry Attributes​

Field NameDescription
DeviceThe scanner hardware unit sending the telemetry log.
Device IPThe local or public IP address of the scanner unit on the campus network.
Script / Firmware VersionThe version of the ScannerSky firmware or bridge client running on the device.
TimestampDate and time when the telemetry event was captured.

How to Inspect Scanner Logs​

  1. Open the Device Logs page.
  2. Filter by specific device or time window using the right-side filter panel.
  3. Review heartbeat timestamps and network IP changes for diagnostics.

Access & Permissions Notice

Operations such as viewing or filtering device telemetry logs may be subject to user or group permission restrictions. Access to permissions can be coordinated with your administrators if needed.
