Configure printable ID card design templates, layout dimensions, and field positioning.

Overview & Description​
ID Templates define the visual design, background artwork, dimensions, and coordinate positioning for text elements (student name, school ID, department, emergency contacts), profile photos, barcodes, and QR codes printed on physical cards.
Navigation Steps​
Navigate to Admin Sidebar > Records > ID Templates.
Fields & Template Configuration​

| Template Name | Descriptive title for the template (e.g., College Student ID 2026, Faculty Staff ID). |
| Department / Scope | Specifies whether the template auto-applies to specific colleges, basic education, or employees. |
| Dimensions | Card width and height (standard CR-80 PVC dimensions: 85.60mm x 53.98mm). |
| Front / Back Artwork | Uploaded background graphic files for front and rear sides. |
| Layout Configuration | Coordinate placement configuration defining where photo, name, barcodes, and signatures appear. |
Operations​
How to Add a New ID Template​
- Click the
+button on the ID Templates page. - Enter the Template Name and assign the target department or persona scope.
- Upload front and back background artwork files.
- Set up field placement coordinates and click Save.
How to Update or Fine-Tune a Template​
- Click the template name in the table.
- Adjust element coordinates, update background graphics, or modify text styling.
- Click Save.
Operations such as viewing, adding, updating, and deleting ID card templates may be subject to user or group permission restrictions. Access to permissions can be coordinated with your administrators if needed.
